Why Riberamerica?

Here in Tudela, we live in what’s called the Ribera. This is a community of towns in our region which are situated on the banks of the Ebro river. The Ebro river is a life source not only for the region, but for a large part of Spain. It is the main water source for the country, and a refuge for many animal species. Historically, however, the Ebro was a different sort of lifeline.

It linked communities through trade and culture, and provided a way for its residents to travel and maintain connections. At Riberamerica we chose this name as the representation of a bridge between communities, and are proud to offer a larger one spanning not just a river, but an ocean, bringing together various cultures in a way that promotes understanding and communication, all the while enriching educational possibilities.
